Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This notice describes how Milcomp Services Kft. processes the personal data of visitors to milcomp.hu and of anyone contacting us through the site. We process data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation 2016/679/EU) and the applicable Hungarian legislation. We update this notice from time to time; the current version is always available on this page.

3. The contact form
Through the contact form you may provide the following data: first and last name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
- Purpose: answering your enquiry, handling quote requests, keeping in touch.
- Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- Retention: at most 6 months after the last contact, unless the enquiry leads to a contract or a legal obligation requires longer retention.
The form is protected from automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile. During its operation Cloudflare processes technical data (such as IP address and browser characteristics); this is based on our legitimate interest in operating the website securely.
4. Who receives your data (processors)
Messages sent through the form reach us via the following providers, acting as data processors on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: serving and protecting the website (CDN), technical delivery of the form, and the Turnstile security check.
- Google (Google Ireland Ltd., Google Workspace): our company email, where form messages are delivered.
- Atlassian (Trello): internal registration and handling of incoming enquiries in a task management system.
These providers may process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. Transfers rely on certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission. Beyond the above, we do not share personal data with third parties unless required by law.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising
On your first visit a cookie banner appears, and we only load consent-based measurement codes after your explicit consent (Google Consent Mode v2). Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie (milcomp_consent), which contains no personal data. The categories:
- Necessary: elements essential for the secure operation of the site, such as Turnstile and the cookie storing your consent choice. These work without consent.
- Statistics: Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) for measuring traffic. Loaded only with your consent; we analyse the data in aggregate form.
- Marketing: Google Ads conversion measurement, which measures how many people contact us as a result of our ads. Active only with your consent.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" button in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right, at any time, to:
- request information about and access to the data we hold about you,
- request the rectification of inaccurate data,
- request erasure where there is no longer a legal basis for processing,
- request the restriction of processing,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- request data portability,
- withdraw your consent at any time.
Send your request to info@milcomp.hu; we respond substantively within one month at the latest.
7. Remedies
If you believe our processing violates the law, please raise it with us first so we can put it right. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., 1055 Budapest, www.naih.hu) or turn to court.
8. Data security
Your data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), access is tied to permission levels, and our systems are continuously updated and monitored. The website is static: it stores no visitor accounts or passwords.
